Totnes Guesthouse is situated in the heart of historic Totnes in South Devon, South West England. Situated between the dramatic rolling hills of Dartmoor and the beautiful beaches of the South Devon coast, this eclectic town and surrounding area has much to offer the adventurous traveller.

Our beautiful guest house is situated above the popular licensed herbal cafe Zappa’s, close to St Mary’s Church, the Guildhall, the Market Square and many independent shops.

Zappa’s Plant-Based Cafe

At Zappa’s we aim to bring you delicious meals and snacks that are completely animal-free. We love plant-based, organic, fair trade and locally sourced food.

We believe that plant-based cuisine is the healthiest and most eco-friendly contribution to human nutrition, and the most inclusive cuisine on the planet! Everyone can enjoy a meal at Zappa’s!

There is something for everyone and we also have a gluten free menu.
As well as a wide range of savoury dishes, we offer freshly made organic salads, juices and smoothies, cakes, traybakes, brownies and other treats for you to enjoy.
Our coffee is sourced from ethical, fair trade coffee growers.

Upstairs Zappa’s

Situated above the popular plant-based cafe Zappa’s, this beautiful guesthouse is set in an old merchant’s house and has 4 good sized rooms available.

• On the first floor is a Super King with ensuite bathroom.
• On the second floor there is a Twin/King, a King and a Single. The rooms on the second floor share a bathroom with shower and there is also a separate toilet shared with the cafe guests.
• Each bright, airy, spacious yet cosy room has its own fridge and kettle.

Breakfast with great coffee or tea, vegan croissant or toast (gluten free toast is an option) is served in the downstairs cafe every morning after 8.30am and is complimentary.
