Bed and Breakfast Cornec is located in a quiet, natural hamlet, 700 meters from the sea, on the Granit Rose coast, close to L’île de Bréhat and Paimpol. We are close to the GR34, the famous coastal trail that follows the coast of Brittany, where you can admire the breathtaking coastline and landscapes.

As passionate foodies, our meals reflect what is important to us. Using local organic ingredients that follow the seasons, Hilde’s vegetarian cuisine is all about big flavors, fine dining and lots of surprises.

All our overnight stays include breakfast, and we offer dinners/lunches/picnics that must be reserved the day before. The menu and prices are posted on our notice board.

Our house

Our 18th century farmhouse has been restored using traditional techniques and ecological materials. We offer 3 spacious rooms with walk-in shower and separate toilet that can accommodate up to 3 people. The rooms all have a king-size bed with natural linen and a sofa bed.

The garden and the orchard

We like it wild! There are many quiet corners in our natural garden, filled with the things Brittany is famous for. Swing on the bench under our mimosa, admire the many flowers or relax in the orchard hammock.

Walks from our house

We’re in prime walking country, and as keen walkers ourselves, we can give you plenty of good advice. Numerous walking routes, such as the infamous GR34 and several local trails, pass close to our house. These are all well marked and suitable for all levels of walker.

The seaside

The sea at Cornec is simply breathtaking, enjoy the sunset behind the Roche d’Epautre and marvel at the view of the Bréhat Archipelago. Or, if you’re brave enough, jump into the sea.

Bréhat

Bréhat is simply magical. From the rugged north coast to the beautiful mansions in the south, there is something for everyone. It can get a bit crowded in the summer, but we have plenty of tips for getting off the beaten track for a great stay. The ferry to Bréhat is within walking distance of our house, so you won’t have to waste time looking for a parking space.

The Towns

Lively Paimpol, with its beautiful harbor, is a stone’s throw away. Or cycle along the cycle path to Tréguier with its impressive cathedral and medieval town.
