Hotel & Camp Korinjak

When it first opened its door at the end of last century, hotel & camp Korinjak was the first (& only) hotel on the Croatian coast with exclusively vegetarian diet.

Apart from that, it is well-known for its long-standing tradition of offering the holistic program called “Vacation for the soul”, which enables guests to strengthen the mind, body and spirit, get closer to own self and thus take a further step to self-development and awareness in life through lectures, seminars and exercises. Vacation for the soul

Nestled in a lush green paradise with stunning sea views, this hotel aims to satisfy the human need for peace, relaxation and tranquillity, without the pressures of luxury and glamour. Although it is just a short walk from the town centre and right next to the town beach, it is free of the hustle and bustle that is typical in tourist destinations, even during the peak season.

Vegan & vegetarian Mediterranean cuisine

It offers a healthy and balanced vegetarian diet based on Mediterranean cuisine, with plenty vegan options. If a special diet is required, there are also gluten free/raw food options available.
Fresh tea, prepared from local plants, is free & always available for guests to enjoy.

Half board, morning yoga & meditation, evening animation program, guided walks around the island/hikes up the mountain for the sunrise/sunset are included in the price of the stay.

Prices start at 49 EUR/person for halfboard in the campsite, 67 EUR per person for halfboard in a hotel room.

Rooms

In two pavilions: “Olive” and “Lavender” the hotel offers 123 beds in 76 rooms, all of them with balcony and air-conditioning.

Seminars and workshops

For the purpose of seminars and workshops within the hotel there are three halls, a large covered terrace and three smaller rooms for individual treatments. Also, there are several outdoor areas that can be used.

Surroundings

For all nature lovers this is really a little paradise. Whilst staying here, you can explore the hidden island bays, take a swim in the crystal-clear Adriatic sea, sunbath on the rocky beaches, chill in the shade of pines and tamarinds, or simply relax and enjoy the amazing sunsets on the island.

The hotel provides a boat transport to the nearby uninhabited island Rutnjak where you can experience the greenery of rich vegetation and the peace of secluded beaches.

There are also daily gong baths, massages, boat trips, seminars, yoga retreats (&much more) available with an extra fee.
The hub of the island, Veli Iž is nestled in a tranquil bay on the northeastern side of the island. This little town has retained the authentic spirit of traditional island life. The centre features the church of St. Peter, a cultural centre, ethnographic collection, severaltaverns & restaurants that offer local cuisine, three caffe bars, shop, post office and a state-of the-art marina.

Location – How to get there

The island of Iž can be accessed by boat, catamaran or ferry. For passengers only, a boat operated by the agency G&V line and a catamaran operated by the agency Jadrolinija depart from the port located in the city centre of Zadar, arriving at the port of Veli Iž, which is located only a few minutes walk from Korinjak hotel&camp. Free luggage transport is organized for all guests.

Ferry operated by Jadrolinija agency departs from Gaženica ferry port and arrives at Bršanj port on the island of Iž, which is approx.. 15 min drive to hotel Korinjak.
