As the name suggests, we have a great view and there used to be a lot of sheep here!

We are somewhere in the middle of nowhere, without any tourist bustle. Amidst the artistic atmosphere and breathtaking nature, we have created a place for you where we ourselves have always wanted to go! This is not the place you would expect. In Spalona, 765 meters above the level of everyday life, we are creating a place for relaxation, spending time in nature and creative meetings. We have created this place so that you can relax in inspiring surroundings, sip coffee with a view that will take your breath away, and breathe in the freshest air in the world (as American scientists would surely conclude if they had only heard of Sheep with a View).

Shepherds – Zuza and Szymon

Hi, it’s Szymon and Zuza. In the past we created theatrical performances for several years and today we create “Sheep with a View”. We want to share our passions with you and make your free time truly blissful. We love yoga, Madrid, designing, drawing and puzzles. We believe that culture and artistic soul can be a great companion to any vacation.

Szymon loves to chat with guests. He will tell you all his favorite secret places to visit in the area. And Zuza loves yoga. She’s a yoga teacher who teaches integrative, body-centered yoga. You can take a private class with her!

Vegetarian place in the mountains

Against the Polish tradition we decided to create a vegetarian hotel and although it’s not an easy choice, economically wise, we would never change our decision! That is what makes us unique. Every day we prove that you can hike, ski and be active (or just rest) after our rich and delicious vegetarian breakfast!

The Art

We always wanted our space to be very artistic. We invited visual artists to make it happen. Each room has its own theme (capital city) and you can find an amazing graffiti art on the wall by Biosme Brocki and posters from the movies or series we love. You can visit 14 different places around the world just by coming to Spalona. We also have an amazing outdoor mural by Paulina Mocna and another floral one in our breakfast room by Justyna Lach.

Retreat and Meeting Space

We host many yoga retreats, business meetings and workshops. If you come as a group, we can offer you our very special vegetarian dinners. We work with an amazing chef who works with us for special events. You will definitely fall in love with Patrycja’s Buddha bowls and other creative vegetarian variations.

ROOMS

We have various possibilities. In our hotel you can find 4 apartments (with two separate bedrooms, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom and living room), 6 rooms for four (with two beds and bunk bed, bathroom and small kitchenette) and 4 rooms for two (with two beds, bathroom and small kitchenette). Each room has a different story for you to discover. We promise it’s worth it!
